Tickets & Bookings
Single tickets are like they sound - a single ticket to one performance in the concert series. If you are interested in seeing three or more performances in our national concert season, you can save money by purchasing one of our subscription packages.
Flexi-Subscriptions allow you to build your own season of concerts at the venues, dates and times that fit your life, saving you up to 25% off the price of single tickets.
For those who want to take the full ACO Season journey, Full-Season Subscriptions offer savings of up to 60% on the same seat at every concert in the Season, along with a host of subscriber benefits and free ticket exchanges should your plans change. Note that Full-Season Subscriptions are only available before the first concert of the Season.
All ticket types currently available can be purchased from our Book Tickets page. This page will also link you to venue websites to buy tickets to performances outside of our National Concert Season, such as Festivals, International Tours and Regional Tours.

The ACO has four main price types for performances, as outlined in the table below.
|Adult||The full price of an ACO Concert ticket.

|Student||Discounted tickets for full time Students. Proof of current study must be shown before tickets are issued.
|Under 30||Discounted tickets for those Under 30 at concert date. Valid proof of age must be shown before tickets are issued.|
The ACO also offer discounts for group bookings of 8 or more people, $25 Schools Tickets for excursions, and a complimentary tickets for companion card holders with their purchase. For details on these discounts, contact our box office directly on firstname.lastname@example.org or 1800 444 444 (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm AEST).
Fees and Exchanges
The ACO is a not-for-profit organisation that relies on commercial and philanthropic activity to continue our work. However, the cost of operating the Orchestra's booking channels requires substantial investment in technology, personnel and infrastructure.
To offset these costs, the ACO charges a once-per-order handling fee of $7.50 for all ticket orders online, regardless of the number of tickets being purchased. This is done instead of a rise in ticket prices so as not to pass on unreasonable costs to those buying many tickets in a single order. Donation orders do not attract a handling fee.
Ticket exchanges are also available for all performances in our National Concert Season up to 7 days before the performance. Note that exchanges are only available for performances in the same Season.
If the value of the new seat is higher than the original, the additional amount must be paid by the customer. If the value of the new ticket be lower, the excess will be added to the order as a tax-deductible donation to the ACO's Learning & Engagement programs.
You can exchange your tickets online from your ACO account, or contacting the ACO Box Office on email@example.com or 1800 444 444 (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm AEST). The cost of exchanges varies based on the ticket type and channel of exchange:
Full-Season Subscription Tickets: Free up to 14 days before the original performance
Flexi-Subscription Tickets: $5.50 exchange fee per order
Single Tickets: $7.50 exchange fee per ticket
